Time Flies

Well, I wanted to keep up but my goodness---life is busy and time flies!!  Miss Priss is growing sooo fast!  She is cooing, and talking, trying to move her mouth in different ways to get "words" out.  She smiles in response to you talking to her.  And, seriously--she wants to sit up!  My little baby is growing.  I love this stage we are in!!  She is super fun (after she eats) and full of personality.  Yes, I suppose she could be a Drama Queen... and probably stubborn, and yes, she has a temper...  : )  I suppose she is my daughter!!

This past weekend Chad ran his very first 5K!  He did the Ft.Worth Cowtown and did a great job!  I am super proud of him!  He is already registered for his next one in March...  I think he is starting to enjoy running!  We stayed in a hotel Friday night before the race.  I was nervous about how Miss Priss would do and about how many people's sleep we could potentially disturb...  But, she was a trooper!  She and I didn't get a lot of sleep as she still prefers to sleep in her swing. But, she was good.  After Chad's run we had brunch with Chad's parents and brother at IHOP.  Then we spent time with the fam at his sisters house.  Saturday night we stayed at Nana's house and Chad's dad ran the half marathon Sunday morning!  Miss Priss and I stayed with Nana to get lunch ready for the crew, and she got to chit chat with her great-grandma!  HOW SPECIAL!  Sunday afternoon we headed back home...  it was a nice weekend, and we LOVED the time with family.  But, OH MY it is exhausting to travel with a baby!  This momma was glad to be home in our familiar place.

Daddy and his girl EARLY in the morning. Before his race!

Right after the race. Chad and his Dad.

I love how the 2 cousins are looking at eachother!

I am very thankful for family, sweet memories, our little girl... and the feeling of coming home!
